About a month ago, the U.S. Supreme Court made a mistake that has happened to soo many attorneys, just not as publicly.
Specifically…..they forgot to remove all the metadata before they published.
In the metadata, there were hidden comments, and redlines, and regardless of whether you think the opinion issued was good or not, that internal dialogue and discussion provided information that was never meant to be made public.
So, I thought to myself, we need easier tools to make sure people can take steps so that it doesn’t happen to them.
And so……drum roll please….DraftCheck is proud to release version 2.7.
Well that sounds great, but who cares about a new version? You do!
DraftCheck Share, with the click of a button, enables you to remove all personal information, comments, highlights, all content from headers and footers, and accept all redlines and formatting changes.
We are making it so you can share a document with confidence that you are only sharing the information you want. No hidden text, errant highlights, or comments that should have been deleted. Nothing.
And for you Google Docs users, that means no having to click on each individual comment.
This is available for Google Docs and Microsoft Word.
I’ve added a screenshot below so that you can see all the different choices available.
